Futura Basura Collection
We had a great time working on it in 2022 and we are very grateful to Bendito Mockup for the possibility of creative co-direction of this collection together with photographer Carlos Aguilera.
The collection consists of 50 poster mockups, split into two sets of 25, published and sold by Bendito Mockup. ➡ Link to buy.
We were able to apply our unique concept style to the mockup, which is usually designed to be neutral and clean so that the content can stand out and take the centre stage. Our approach is expressive and daring, with the container (mockup) competing openly with the content (poster).
Posters have always been a great format for experimentation and we believe that mockups have the potential to evolve in this way as well. In this collection, we disrupted the traditional balance between the container and content. There are even occasions in which the latter is integrated into the environment in an extreme way and is even difficult to recognise. This sensation is even more heightened if we place it in chaotic scenarios of rubbish and waste. In the classic mockup scheme, the content’s leading role is clearly affected.
It is a wide-ranging collection that also offers more balanced solutions. Here we present a selection of pieces from the Futura Basura e-shop and others that were made especially to celebrate this three-way collaboration.
