PRICE AND SHIPPING COSTS

I. All our transactions are made in Euros and include Spain’s local taxes, including VAT, but do not include any other taxes or costs associated with importing into any other country.

II. Futura Basura ships worldwide. If there is a specific incident at any destination that prevents or delays delivery, you will be noticed and we will try to find the best solution.

III. The buyer declares the awareness of this circumstance and the specific conditions of application for the country of destination of the order placed and accepts the payment of the same to the authorities or intermediaries that claim them separately from the total of the purchase operation carried out with Futura Basura. In this sense, the buyer must assume all the increases that may occur due to tariffs or taxes linked to the destination address, otherwise, we will not be able to send your order.

Customs policies and import duties vary considerably from country to country, so, as we have no control over these charges, we regret that we are unable to confirm these costs. We recommend that you contact your local customs office for details of the duties and taxes in force before placing your order so that you are not surprised by unexpected charges. We cannot accept returns of orders for these reasons, which are beyond the control of Futura Basura, nor can we refund the amounts paid for these concepts.

IV. The fixed price does not include shipping costs, as those may vary depending on the destination, volume and weight. Our system calculates the final cost of shipping automatically, taking into account the weight and volume of the order and the destination address. As a buyer, you can choose between express or normal delivery.

DELIVERY TIME

Once payment has been made, you will receive an email confirming your order. Upon receiving this email confirmation of purchase, until the order leaves our facilities, 3 to 7 days may go by. We will inform you immediately of any incident within this period, offering you the possibility of cancelling the order.

We call this period the order processing time and it is composed of the following phases:

  • Receipt of the order.
  • Pre-printing management.
  • Printing: at least once a week.
  • Signed/stamped. In the case of fine art prints, production of the certificate of authenticity.
  • Packaging and labelling.
  • Delivery to the courier company: depending on the service contracted, collection by the courier company or delivery at the agreed point.

In addition to the order processing time, there is also the time taken by the Courier company to deliver the order. You will receive an e-mail notification when the Courier company receives the order. You will be able to obtain information in real time and track its status through the courier company itself. So, we would like to point out that we are not responsible for delays caused by an incorrect address, local holidays or any other circumstance beyond the control of Futura Basura.

Our philosophy: Your product is made on demand and prepared in a unique and personalised way, within a reasonable timeframe. We encourage a new alternative consumption that promotes a deep and detailed knowledge of the product we work with, in line with the “slow movement” and in opposition to the accelerated culture and immediate responses. We reivindicate a different type of sustainable speed, minimising the errors that result from accelerated productivity and haste, dedicating the necessary time to each phase of the process and taking care of every detail to the maximum.

Fine art print: When you purchase one of our Fine art print products, you can check in the description whether the work and its certificate of authenticity are signed by the artist himself or whether a stamp is used. In the event that the work is personally signed by the artist, you should bear in mind that we depend on the availability of the artist for this task. Because of this, for this type of products we extend the order processing time up to a maximum of 12 days, duly informing you as the buyer of any delay resulting from this action and informing you of the new delivery date.

DAMAGED GOODS

If you receive an item with obvious damage, please inform us immediately at alwaysopen@futurabasura.com and we will do everything necessary to solve the situation as soon as possible. To do this, we will ask you to send us photographs of the product, so that we can understand your situation and offer you an appropriate solution.

Each package is provided with security stickers that prevent it from being opened during transport. Upon reception, you must confirm that these stickers (two in total) have not been tampered with or removed. You should only accept packages that arrive perfectly sealed and with no signs of wear or tampering that could affect their contents. If you still decide to accept a package that appears damaged, you must indicate on the reception document that the package shows obvious signs of deterioration. With this information, and some photos of its condition, it will be easier for us to verify what has happened and provide the information to the transport company.

In the event of loss or damage, the Buyer may be entitled to compensation. Such compensation shall be subject to a claim by the Buyer against the Seller and by the Seller against the company responsible for the shipment. It will only be effective in the event of a reply from the company responsible for the loss or damage and the payment actually made by the latter as compensation in accordance with the conditions of the insurance included in its services. The Seller will inform the Buyer, if the latter so requests, of the loss insurance conditions applicable to each shipping option offered. In any case, the Buyer accepts these conditions.
