Honey Boo Boo, 2047

"Honey Boo Boo, 2047" is a piece that challenges the conventions of beauty and explores the madness surrounding desire. Inspired by the stage name of a famous child beauty pageant contestant, this work invites reflection on the beauty standards that envelop us and the relentless pursuit of an ideal body. Carmen's technique is a visual journey in itself. By using multiple layers of watercolor washes on delicate raw watercolor paper, she creates a depth and texture that captures attention. The finish in black paste watercolor adds a striking contrast, enhancing the complexity of the work and its underlying message. Printed on Premium Matte 180 g and available in a single format of 50 x 70 cm. Please note that it is sold without the frame.
