Hans Sutter (Basel, 1988) signs this project that emerged as a continuation of a teaching work, in which he visually explored typographical aberrations and their relationship with elite sport. Clearly influenced by the pressure he received as a child to become a professional tennis player, in his work as a visual artist he is constantly searching for, and reflecting on conflicts between pleasure and discipline, free time and work. He finished studying architecture at the ETH in Zurich and is currently working in a studio, developing graphic representation tasks as a designer and video editor. Passionate about architecture (although he does not practice architecture) and photography, he has just set up a small silk-screen printing workshop with his girlfriend in Strasbourg from where they experiment with Typografischer Sport and for other projects.
