Carmen Oliver, born in 1985, has a degree in Fine Arts and a diploma in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage. Her pictorial work is constructed in watercolour on paper, a material on which she also focuses her work as a restorer: documents, graphic work and objects made of this cellulose material. Throughout her artistic career she has received awards such as the Alonso Cano painting prize, the third prize for Young Painters from the Granada City Council, the FACBA and AlRaso grants, and has participated in group exhibitions at the Palacio Condes de Gabia (Granada) among other centres in the province. He has had several solo exhibitions, the most important of which is "Elizabeth's Blackwell" at the Centro Cultural Gran Capitán (Granada). Her paintings weave a dreamlike and even sinister aura in pieces that reflect on identity and question social tendencies that lead us to asphyxia.
